What’s the point of a YA Fiction Blog if I don’t have a section on books?  Here at ColoredIn my main focus will be on analyzing the YA books we all know and love. These will not be reviews but in-depth studies of characters. I will be asking questions like, “Is The House of Night Series really empowering to women?”, “What are the downfalls of the GBF (Gay Best Friend) character?”, and “What is the Real color of Rue (Hunger Games)?” along with many others.  Please let me know if there is a character or book you want me to analyze.
